Eugene’s first winery opened as “Hinman Vineyards” in 1979. Today, the winery has been renamed “Silvan Ridge” and is owned by Elizabeth Chambers. Crowned by an iconic clock tower and overlooking its own grassy amphitheater, Silvan Ridge Winery is a prime gathering place for social entertainment, families and fitness-minded enthusiasts who run or ride the scenic back country roads
Led by our distinctive Willamette Valley Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris, our delightfully effervescent Early Muscat, and our micro-production varietal wines from the Rogue Valley region, Silvan Ridge Winery has quietly put together a portfolio that includes some of the finest, most stylish varietal wines being produced in Oregon today, including our Malbec, hand-crafted by Argentine winemaker JP Valot.
We are open for tasting from 12-5 pm daily. We are located just 12 miles from downtown Eugene and offer one of the most comprehensive tasting menus in the Willamette Valley along with magnificent sunset views. Touring & Tasting Magazine named Silvan Ridge Winery as one of the top 20 “Oregon gems” to visit.
